Every of the 13 monthly sections features a double page spread organised as follows:
- Section to write in Milestones and special memories,
- 10cm x 15cm space for a photo of your baby.
- Section to fill in babies measurements – weight, length and dates
- Second page has area to stick the monthly sticker and 42 “day” squares.
The first two pages are for marking details about family, friends and your baby’s birth. At the rear is a section for writing down memories of events that occurred the time your baby was born.
The calendar works in an ingenious way.
Each squares is blank except for a small circle for you to number as appropriate so that baby’s first month begins on exactly the right day. I.e if your baby was born on Sat 12th August then you will find the first Saturday box and mark it 12 and begin counting from there, the second month will begin on 12th September meaning your diary will be an accurate memory of your baby’s first year.
To help you fill in this gorgeous calendar are 120 bright stickers including two monthly headers (to change month where appropriate) and corner stickers for attaching the photographs. Also… Monthly markers, special days, visits to the doctor, health visitor, midwife, trips out, weighing, jabs and the all-important first milestones.
