A High Street Family Business..

From our humble beginnings, 6 years ago, with a limited yet beautiful collection of baby toys, play mats and mobiles in some ways we are unrecognisable yet we still stick to the same requirements of quality and beautiful design. Inspired by our own five children who are fond product testers and models only the best will do for them and for our shop.

What do we look for? Firstly and crucially is the effect a toy will have on a child's development. The second is the effect it will have on the parents, other family members or primary carers.

What do we mean by this? Just as every child is different so are their interests, strengths and weaknesses. Toys are one of the best tools to help your child learn, explore and investigate the world around them. We care about how they affect you because you are their primary teacher, if you're inspired they will be too, if you are passionate they will be and if you are having fun so will they.

In much the same way our children change every day so does Stork Gifts. In 2009 we finally opened our first retail store in the beautiful town of Lymington, situated in the New Forest, Hampshire. Now we have the opportunity to speak to our customers daily, to be inspired by them and respond by learning, adapting and evolving.

Last year we took on board the fantastic feedback given by our customers by expanding our age range. We adopted more traditional toys, particularly wooden and put to the test an assortment of crafts, role play, trains and dolls.

We value the flexibility of the internet as much as anyone, after all it's our bread and butter but we also believe it's crucial to retain the personal touch that a shop can give.
